No fewer than 28 ships laden with petrol, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin Can Island ports in Lagos from February 27 to March 13.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication of operational activities, a copy of which was sent to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY.
Four of the expected ships are expected to discharge petrol at some petroleum jetties in Lagos.
NPA said that the remaining 24 ships contained buck wheat, general cargoes, bulk sugar, steel products, ethanol, empty containers and containers laden with goods.
The document noted that six ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser and petrol while 19 others are discharging containers, bulk wheat, steel products, bulk fertiliser, gypsum, soya bean, diesel and petrol.
