The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said on Tuesday that President Muhammadu Buhari will run an all-inclusive government.

Amaechi, who addressed journalists at the headquarters of the campaign council in Abuja, said President Buhari was ready to hit the ground running because of his realization that Nigerians had suffered more than enough.

“I think what we should be saying is we are grateful to Nigerians and PDP. Let’s not fight but encourage INEC so that elections will be free and fair. I think we should leave the past. We now have another four years to prove them wrong.

“Not only will he (Buhari) run an all-inclusive government, he is guided by the fact that Nigerians have suffered enough. The president will ensure we run a government that satisfies Nigerians,” he said.

The Minister, who is also the Director-General of Buhari’s presidential campaign council, said since the presidential election is over, it is time to focus on tackling the country’s security challenges and growing the economy.

Amaechi said the re-election of President Buhari by 15 million Nigerians, who are satisfied with what the actions of the APC-led Federal Government, is a referendum.

“But you must be humble in victory. He (Buhari) is calm and quiet. We hope they will see reason. But if they don’t, we also have lawyers who can represent us,” he said, while commenting on plans by the opposition presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to challenge Buhari’s victory in court.
