Buhari, Macron in closed-door talks in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari is meeting behind closed doors with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting started at 4:34 p.m. when the French President arrived at the State House, Abuja.

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, was among the top government officials that received Macron at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa.

The two leaders posed for photograph shots at the entrance of the President’s office before the meeting started.

A press briefing is expected to hold at the end of the meeting, which will include signing of some Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between both countries.
