A 29-year-old clearing agent, Folorunsho Musiliu on Friday appeared before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for assaulting one Ibrahim Katsina.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Olusegun Kokoye told the court that the accused committed the offence on November 12, 2017 at about 9:57pm at No 45, Temidire Street, Off Tolu Olodi, Apapa.
Kokoye said the accused unlawfully used a cutlass to inflict deep injury between the left ear and head of Ibrahim Katsina, which caused him harm.
According to him, the offence contravened Sections 170 and 173 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
The accused pleaded guilty to the two-count charge against him.
Magistrate Abiodun Etti adjourned the case till December 4, 2017 for facts and sentencing.
