Newly appointed Controller, PTML Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Isa Talatu has promised to sustain the tempo of revenue generation at the command.
Talatu who was recently redeployed from Lilypond Area Command to PTML takes over from Controller FolorunshoAdegoke who has been redeployed to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Command.
At a brief hand over ceremony at the command yesterday, Talatu solicited the support and cooperation officers to achieve set targets.
“I don’t joke with my revenue target,” she told the officers.
She warned that she would not tolerate any unruly behavior from officers especially towards clearing agents. According to her, without the agents, the command would not be able to realize its revenue target.
“I will not tolerate officers not disciplined or rude to agents. We are here because of them but that must be done without loss of dignity,” she said.
