Maersk Line stood out amongst more than eight nominees, taking home the “Best Global Shipping Line” award at the annual Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards, held on Tuesday in Shanghai.
The awards are designed to honour the respective winning organizations for demonstrating leadership as well as consistency in service quality, innovation, customer relations management and reliability.
Allen Tu, Key Client & Global Freight Forwarder Sales Manager of East China, Greater China accepted the award on behalf of Maersk Line.
Silvia Ding, Greater China Cluster Top commenting on the award, “We are honored to have received this award as an affirmation of our continued commitment to providing best-in-class product and service to our customers in Asia and around the world. The Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards are held annually by Cargo News Asia, a Hong Kong-based cargo freight and logistics trade newspaper.
The nomination and voting process allowed the more than 15,000 readers of Asia Cargo News and e-news subscribers to first determine the leading companies in the market, and then determine the winners, making the results the opinion of service users rather than a panel of judges.
