President, Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN), Ifeyinwa Obi is dead.
Obi reportedly died in the early hours of this morning at her residence after battling an undisclosed illness.
Obi who is the first female President of MARAN is the third maritime reporter to have died within two months.
Until her death, Obi was a maritime correspondent with Vanguard newspapers.
She is survived by four children.
