All is set for the historic Maritime Cup final match between Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) at 4pm today at the NPA Sports Ground, Surulere, Lagos.
It is the first time both teams are qualifying for the final match. The maych venue is agog with the supporters and bands of both teams fully on ground. The carnival-like atmosphere and the presence of several dignitaries at the match venue highlights the importance of the competition to the maritime industry.
Already, the third place match has been concluded with the Nigeria Customs Service defeating the Nigerian Navy 4-0 to win the bronze medals of the competition.
