Truck boy pleads guilty for stealing gear box in Apapa 


A truck assistant also known as motor boy has been arraigned before an Apapa Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing the gear box of a truck belonging to the company he works for.

The police prosecutor, Sergeant Friday Chinedu told the court that the accused committed the offence on July 9, 2017 at Marine Road, Amuwo, Apapa where he stole the gear box of IVECO truck valued at N350,000, property of Thomlee Nigeria Limited.

The truck assistant, identified as Gafaru Alade, 30, pleaded guilty to the two-count charges brought against him.

The Magistrate, Temitope Babalola adjourned the case till July 21, 2017 for facts and sentence.
