US Marine officer seeks Ekiti senatorial seat

An ex-officer of the United States Army, Capt. Sunday Adebomi, has promised to promote positive change in governance, if elected into the senate.

Adebomi, who just retired from the US Marine to pursue his ambition stated this after submitting his letter of intent to represent the Ekiti South Senatorial District at the Peoples Democratic Party secretariat in Ekiti.

He also promised to offer positive solutions to youth unemployment in his district, adding that his intention was to empower and re-orientate the youths of his district and channel their energy towards nation’s building.

According to him, his wealth of experience and interaction at local, national and international levels over the years would give him a great advantage over other aspirants.

Adebomi advocated for power shift to younger generation with link to the grassroots who can bring positive developments.

The 40-year-old promised to bring government nearer to the people based on his grassroot experiences and his antecdents in empowering youth in the senatorial district.
