President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Lagos this morning and headed for the Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island to commission three war ships and 27 patrol boats.
The President was received by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMIA) early this morning and headed straight to the Naval Dockyard for the commissioning.
The President is going to commission three war ships. One of the war ships was imported while two others were built locally.
Buhari will also commission 27 patrol boats for the use of the navy to patrol the nation’s water body.
Buhari was accompanied on the visit by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and army chiefs.
