The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Seme Command on Monday said it collected N2.86 billion revenue between January and June.
The command in the period under review made 620 seizures with Duty Paid Value (DPV) of N432.93 million.
The Customs Area Controller of Seme command, Comptroller Mohammed Aliyu, made the disclosure in a statement, in Lagos.
Aliyu said the revenue realised was a product of sustained compliance by stakeholders and commitment of the customs officers.
He said the feat was achieved despite the current low volume of importation through the border.
