In a show of good sportsmanship, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Dikko Inde Abdullahi, has congratulated the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) over its victory in the recently concluded 6th Ships & Ports Maritime Cup competition.
NAGAFF for the first time since its entry into the competition four years ago, lifted the Maritime Cup penultimate Friday.
NAGAFF Founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, expressed disappointment that his team did not have the opportunity of confronting three times champion, Nigeria Customs Service which crashed out in the quarter final of the stage.
NAGAFF defeated Micura Stevedoring Services Limited 2-1 in the final match to emerge Maritime Cup 2014 champion.
In a message made available to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY, Dikko expressed delight in NAGAFF’s achievement in emerging champion in this year’s competition.
The Customs boss praised the determination of NAGAFF players and sent his best wishes to them.
