The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) was thrown into mourning, Monday, following the news of the demise of the immediate past Chairman of its Tin Can Island Port chapter, Prince Kayode Oyinlola.

Publicity Secretary of the association, Joe Sanni, who confirmed his death to SHIPS & PORTS, said Oyinlola died in the early hours of Monday after battling with a protracted illness.

Meanwhile, acting National President of ANLCA, Kayode Farinto, has commiserated with the family and friends of the deceased.

In a statement issued by the association’s Publicity Secretary, Farinto directed that all ANLCA activities across the country be suspended for the next two days in honour of Oyinlola.

He also directed that a condolence register be opened at the Tin Can Island Port chapter and at the National Secretariat for members to register their condolence message.

“Death, we all know is inevitable. Prince Oyinlola has come and played his own part. In the course of his life, he has positively affected the lives of millions of people across the world,” Farinto said in the statement.
