Ex-NPA Board Secretary Gamboro Umar retires from service

 

Former General Manager, Board Secretary/Legal Adviser of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Innocent Gamboro Umar, is bowing out of service today as he clocks the mandatory retirement age of 60.

Umar, who is retiring as the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Planning of NPA, has also served the organisation for 35 years.

A law graduate of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, he holds a Masters degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the Lagos State University (LASU).

He is a member of various professional bodies including the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Chartered Institute of Procurement, Statistical Association of Nigeria and Economic Society of Nigeria.

His colleagues and friends are already planning a befitting send-off to mark the end of his public service career.
