The Nigerian Association of Master Mariners (NAMM) has commended the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola (CON), for appointing Dr. Bolaji Akinola as his Media and Communications Adviser.
NAMM President, Captain Tajudeen Alao, expressed the association’s delight over the appointment, describing it as a strategic move that will enhance communication and advocacy within the maritime sector. He emphasized that Dr. Akinola’s vast experience in maritime affairs and leadership would be instrumental in unlocking the sector’s untapped potential.
“We are confident that the Honourable Minister has placed his trust in your capabilities by assigning you this responsibility,” Captain Alao stated in a letter to the new Special Adviser.
He extended his best wishes to Dr. Akinola as he assumes his new role and assured him of the association’s support in advancing the Marine and Blue Economy agenda.
