The Nigeria Customs Service has said that it would set up an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) across the various customs formation.
Comptroller General of Customs, Alhaji Dikko Inde Abdullahi, stated this in Abuja recently when a delegation of executive members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) paid him a courtesy visit at the Customs headquarters.
Dikko said that the independent ADR will aim at addressing the challenges freight forwarding agents face in the course of their operations especially in their relationship with customs operatives.
