NPA boss seeks stronger ties with South Korea

The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, Mallam Habib Abdullahi has called for better economic cooperation that is mutually beneficial between Nigeria and the Republic of Korea.

Abdullahi made the call yesterday while receiving the Consul General of the Republic of Korea who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Lagos.

The NPA boss noted that both countries have a lot to benefit from each other especially in the area of maritime trade and expressed optimism that the Korean visit will not only bring more business enterprises to Nigeria but also strengthen the existing business relationship between the two countries.

Earlier the Consul General Younghoan Lee had told Abdullahi that the visit was to express his country’s appreciation to NPA for the tremendous support and cooperation his country had enjoyed from it over the years,

While expressing satisfaction with the services rendered by NPA, which he described as meeting international standards, he said the Republic of Korea anticipates continuous cooperation between the two countries.

Highlights of the visit were the exchange of gifts between the Managing Director and the Consul General.
