NPA Generates N758.26 Billion Revenue, Gets N1.75 Trillion Target for 2025

NPA to Link Export Terminals with Domestic Warehouses to Boost Trade, SME Opportunities

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced a significant revenue generation of N758.26 billion as at November 2024.

This revelation was made by the Managing Director of NPA, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, on Wednesday during a presentation to the National Assembly on the agency’s 2024 revenue performance and 2025 projections.

Initially, the NPA had projected a revenue of N997 billion for 2025. However, the Joint Committee on Finance, chaired by Senator Sani Musa and Hon. James Faleke, reviewed and increased this projection to N1.75 trillion.

The committee justified this adjustment by citing the potential for maximising NPA’s 56 revenue streams.

The NPA’s impressive performance in 2024 and its ambitious target for 2025 are expected to contribute significantly to the federal government’s revenue coffers.
