The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is hosting the 12th Intermodal Africa Conference and Exhibition.
Intermodal Africa is a two-day conference featuring 35 world-class conference speakers addressing topical issues and challenges on global transportation and logistics. It is expected to be attended by as much as 700 senior executive harbour masters, harbour engineers, port engineers, maintenance supervisors and procurement decision makers together with the world’s leading shippers, cargo owners, importers/exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics companies, ports, terminal operating companies, railway operators, port equipment and services suppliers from Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The event will hold at Oriental Hotel, Lagos tomorrow, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 March 2014.
A public notice published by the NPA management indicated that the conference is holding for the first time in Nigeria.
Minister of Transport, Senator Idris Umar, is expected to deliver a keynote address while Managing Director of NPA, Mallam Habib Abdullahi, is delivering welcome address at the event.
