An unusual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is holding in the Presidential Villa, Abuja with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presiding.
The meeting is unusual because FEC meetings normally hold on Wednesdays and may not be unconnected with the winding down of President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term in office. The President, who is currently in Saudi Arabia, will be inaugurated for his second term on Wednesday next week.
