Quest holds anniversary

The management of Quest Media Group has said it would hold its 8th transport development symposium and awards on 08th August, 2015 at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.

“The event also celebrates the consistency of the highly valued publications by stakeholders in the transport sector as we hinge our stories not only on happenings without bias within the sector, we have also been a tremendous information tool that have contributed to the development of the transport sector in the past eight years,” the company said in a press release signed by its Editor-in-chief, Felix Kumuyi.

Kumuyi said the annual symposium. which would be chaired by the former Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwa, will parade seasoned speakers with full audience participation.

The theme of the symposium, according to him, is ‘Transport/Maritime Sector Development: The Need For Effective Policy cum Seasoned Technocrats for Optimum Performance’.

He said papers will be delivered by the Director, Shipping Development of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Captain Warredi Enisuoh among other speakers.

“Also, the event will witness an award segment of different categories which is meant to give honour to those who deserve it in our own little effort and contribution at being appreciative of those that have excelled in their respective fields and areas of specialization.

“This is aimed at spurring them to further step up their present momentum as sign of recognition and encouragement,” Kumuyi stated.
