Twenty five ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos State.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made this known on Friday in Lagos.
According to NPA the ships were discharging buck wheat, steel products, general cargo, petrol, containers and bulk gas, among other commodities.
It said the other commodities are bulk charcoal, butane gas, raw sugar, ballast, bulk corn and bulk fertiliser.
Expected to arrive at the Lagos ports from July 21 to Aug. 28 are 41 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods.
NPA said that the ships would bring general cargoes, bulk fertiliser, buck wheat, lubrication oil, empty containers, bulk sugar and petrol.
It added that 10 ships had arrived at the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk sulphur and petrol.
