Ogbeifun clears air on NISA secretariat, says it will remain in Lagos

A presidential aspirant of the Nigerian Shipowners Association (NISA), Engr. Greg Ogbeifun has debunked speculations that he plans to move the association’s secretariat from Lagos to Port Harcourt.
Ogbeifun told SHIPS & PORTS DAILY in an exclusive interview last week that he would relocate the NISA secretariat from 27 Abraham Adesanya Street, Apapa to a new location within Lagos a day after he is elected president of the association.
Ogbeifun said the association’s secretariat would remain within Lagos.
He said, “I have never said I will take NISA secretariat out of Lagos, I only said I will acquire a befitting secretariat for the association in Lagos with a Director-General who will see to the affairs of the association.
“All hands are on deck to ensure that the secretariat is moved to the Nigerian Shippers’ Council,” Ogbeifun told our correspondent.
