At least 10 people died in a boat mishap which occurred in Ebe village, Lokoja local government area of kogi State yesterday.
Four bodies had been recovered from the river at the time of filing this report.
The 50-capacity boat ferrying passengers from Ebe was said to have capsized along the River Gurara, due to turbulence caused by accident involving a security patrol team and another boat used by oil bunkerers.
A source said that the patrol team was pursuing a boat conveying drums of crude oil into River Gurara
