A retired General Manager at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Michael Kayode Ajayi has bagged a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Security and Strategic Studies from the Nassarawa State University, Keffi.
Dr. Ajayi retired from NPA as the General Manager, Public Affairs in March 2017 upon attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.
Prior to becoming the spokesman of the agency, he served in various capacities including as the General Manager Administration and General Manager Western Ports, among others, during his 24 years career in NPA.
A holder of three traditional titles and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Dr. Ajayi attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and the University of Ibadan where he bagged B.A. (Combined Honours) in Political Science and Philosophy; and MSc in Public Administration.
