A container fell off a truck in the early hours of Friday morning on Ojuelgba Bridge, Lagos.
The accident has in turn hindered commuters and vehicular movement in the area. Commuters had to look for alternative routes to get to their places of work while others resorted to trekking.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and Nigeria Police Force were seen at the scene of the accident trying to instill order and remove the fallen container.
An official of LASTMA, who identified himself as Mr Idowu, said there was no casualty as a result of the accident.
Recall that on Sunday January 29, eleven people – two children and nine adults – died after a truck conveying a 20ft container fell on top of a commercial bus at Ojuelegba.
