In a show of appreciation to those who supported the re-election of Prince Olayiwola Shittu and his team of national executives into office, the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Western Zone organised a thank you get together party last Friday in Lagos.
The party which held at Mambillah Hotels Limited in Ikorodu was well attended by keen advocates of Shittu’s re-election into office as ANLCA National President including the association’s Board of Trustees Coordinator, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha, and top officials and members of the various chapters in ANLCA Western zone.
The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) President, Chief Eugene Nweke, and Board Chairman, Chidiebere Enelama, who represented the NAGAFF Founder, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, were also in attendance to signify the association’s support of the present leadership of ANLCA.
The ANLCA President, during his speech, said that the get-together was not a victory party but one to appreciate members and well wishers for their dauntless efforts and encouragement towards ushering him into office for a second term even as he assured that he will not disappoint them.
He said that certificates of commendation would be presented in due time to appreciate those who worked meritoriously during his first term administration.
Another highlight of the event was the ANLCA president’s presentation of an award to popular fuji singer, Adewale Ayuba, as ANLCA Musical Ambassador.
