The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agent (ANLCA) was thrown into mourning yesterday following the news of the sudden death of the Secretary of its Tin Can Island Port chapter, David Chuks Kanikwu.
National Publicity Secretary of the association, Kayode Farinto who confirmed his death to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY said Kanikwu died on Tuesday after he slumped at his residence in Ibadan.
He said Kanikwu was at work until last weekend when he travelled to visit his family in Ibadan when they heard the news of his death.
Chairman of the Tin Can Island Port chapter, Kayode Oyinlola who expressed shock and sadness over the death of Kanikwu said they were together on Thursday last week when he told him he would be visiting his family over the weekend.
