11 seafarers have been reported missing following a cargo ship sinking incident off China’s Liaoning Province.
The unnamed cargo vessel, which was loaded with a cargo of sand, sank in the seas off Liaoning on Sunday morning.
The incident was reported to the maritime search and rescue center of Huludao City at around 5 a.m.
The local government, as well as the maritime search and rescue center, dispatched a number of ships and air units to find the missing seafarers.
Relevant authorities also launched an investigation into the incident.
