The world’s third busiest port, Ningbo-Zhoushan port maintained strong volume growth in the Chinese New Year holiday month of January 2023.
The port posted a container volume of over 3 million TEU in the first month of 2023. It is the second time that the port’s monthly container volume surpassed 3m TEU after July 2022, hitting a new high comparing with the previous years.
The port has strengthened business connections with shipping companies and alliances since the beginning of this year, and has opened up a new service for China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
