The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Harcourt II Command, generated ₦731.2 billion revenue in 2025.
The Area Controller, Aliyu Alkali, said the revenue was generated through strict adherence to standard operating procedures, enforced discipline among officers and sustained regular engagement with key stakeholders in the maritime and logistics sectors.
While commending the efforts of officers of the command, Alkali acknowledged the support of the Nigeria Customs Service management, led by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi.
He said the enabling environment created by the management contributed significantly to the command’s success. He also praised the cooperation of stakeholders, describing their synergy with Customs as vital to achieving the record performance.
The command also intercepted 75 containers with a cumulative Duty Paid Value of ₦47.6 billion. Of these, 30 containers were found to contain expired, illicit and unregistered pharmaceutical products, while others were seized for breaching various provisions of Customs laws.
