Federal Operation Units, Zone B, Nigeria Customs Service, has seized smuggled goods worth N40.5 million along the Kaduna-Zaria highway.
Controller of the unit, Al-Bashir Hamisu, disclosed this in Kaduna on Wednesday.
He listed some of the seized goods to include 484 parcels of Indian hemp, 373 bags of rice, vegetable oil and 48 bales of second hand clothing.
Hamisu handed over the seized Indian hemp to the Kaduna State Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Uche Iyke.
