Embattled President of the Nigerian Shipowners Association (NISA), retired Capt. Niyi Labinjo, who was arrested along with his wife, Bola by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday in connection with a $6.5million vessel purchase scandal involving the couple and an indigenous firm, Acenk Marine and Energy Services Limited has been released on bail.
The couple were released last night after fulfilling their administrative bail condition. They are to report to the EFCC office every week.
