The 40th day fidda’u prayers for the immediate past Executive Secretary/CEO of Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), Capt. Adamu Biu, has been scheduled to hold today Saturday, 2nd January, 2021.
Biu, who headed the NSC from 2004 to 2012, died in Abuja on November 23, 2020 at the age of 70.
Bashir Ambi, a former Personal Assistant to the late Master Mariner, said in a notice that due to the restriction on public gatherings “in line with COVID-19, protocol will be fully observed during the prayers”, which will hold in Abuja and other parts of the country.
“Please remember him in your prayers. Prayers can be offered from any part of the world for his repose,” Ambi said in the notice shared on social media platforms yesterday.
