The port city of Apapa is currently in a lockdown as truck drivers protest the alleged killing of two of their colleagues by officials of the Nigerian Navy charged with the task of ensuring smooth traffic flow in the area.

The gate of the Lagos Port Complex Apapa has been blocked by the protesting drivers, hampering inward and outward movement.
