The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has set up a five-member electoral commission in preparation for its elections next year.
Members of the yet to be inaugurated electoral commission are Okey Nerus, Chairman; Dipo Olayoku, Secretary; Barrister Henry Olarotimi; Elder Donatus Ofoma and Deaconess Kate Oghabon.
A statement signed by the National President of NAGAFF, Chief Eugene Nweke, and sent to SHIPS & PORTS DAILY said that the electoral commission members are expected to use the occasion of the forthcoming NAGAFF Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for December 2013 to brief the entire members of the association about the guidelines and timetable for the election coming up in the first quarter of 2014.
Nweke further said that with the setting up of the electoral commission “the coast is now clear for members interested in contesting for any position in the Association to commence activities towards realizing this dream.”
