The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has launched a registration portal for providers and users of port services operating at Onne Port, Rivers State.
NSC Executive Secretary, Barr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima, said that the launching of the portal was in line with the mandates the council to register all regulated service providers and users operating at the nation’s seaports.
The NSC boss was represented by the Director, South-South Zone, Glory Onajedo.
Akutah described the launching of the portal as a milestone.
He said the portal provides a database of service providers, as well as “genuine” shippers and other stakeholders operating at the ports.
