The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Headquarters Cooperative Multipurpose and Credit Society Limited (CMSL) held its first exhibition on home appliances, furniture, healthcare products and electronics amongst others last week.
The exhibition held from 15th -17th April, 2014 in Lagos.
In his address at the exhibition, President of the cooperative, Alhaji Shamsideen Adekunle Balogun, said the purpose was to enable members enjoy the benefits of their contribution to the progress and development of the society.
He said the leadership of the CMSL decided to organise the exhibition to show its members that it cares about their well being.
Director of Cooperative Services, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Ibrahim, while speaking at the event, commended the executive management of NPA Headquarters CMSL for the initiative of organizing the exhibition.
Ibrahim urged other cooperative societies in Lagos State to emulate the NPA CMSL to bring benefits to their members.
