Check out these new incident photos showing the grounding of tug and barge in the northern Philippines late last month.
The tug St. Vincent Grenadines-flagged tug Salvage Titan towing a barge carrying ship to shore cranes ran aground November 27 in stormy weather in Sanchez Mira, the Phillippines, drawing large crowds of spectators to the beach. All 14 crew members were rescued from the tug before it was refloated about a day later.
Media reports suggest the tug may have lost power in the severe weather, leading to the grounding. No pollution or major injuries were reported.
