The Presidency has announced that the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council will not hold this Wednesday.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, made the announcement in a two-paragraph statement made available to newsmen on Monday.
He attributed the cancellation of the meeting to President Muhammadu Buhari’s scheduled participation in the High-Level Meeting of the International Conference on Lake Chad Basin, holding in Abuja.
“The meeting of the Federal Executive Council will not hold on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
“This is due to the participation of President Muhammadu Buhari and a significant number of ministers at the High-Level Meeting of the International Conference on Lake Chad Basin, at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, for the better part of that day,” the statement read.
