Threads is a new social media platform launched on July 5, 2023 by Instagram’s parent company Meta. The new platform provides the option to post text, videos and photos, and the ability to engage in real-time conversations.
Meta owner, Mark Zuckerberg, recently expressed excitement following the success recorded so far by Threads. He said no fewer than 70 million users joined Threads within 48 hours of its launch.
“70 million sign-ups on Threads as of this morning. Way beyond our expectations,” Zuckerberg posted on Friday.
