Stars Maritime Academy has admitted a total of 350 students for its new session scheduled that commenced Monday.
150 students were admitted to study Shipping Management, 120 for Marine Engineering and 80 for Nautical Science.
According to the academy’s Director, Dr. Ruben Ovia, the increase in the number of intakes this year is due to the listing of the institution in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) brochure for universities, polythenics and monothenics.
He disclosed that the three courses offered by the institution have been listed in the JAMB brochure.
