Western Ports gets new Police Commissioner

Police arrest four over container diversion from Apapa

Mr. Kayode Aderanti, has been appointed as the new Commissioner in charge of the Western Ports Police Command.

Aisabor takes over from Ambrose Aisabor who has been transferred to the Kwara State as the new Commissioner of Police (CP).
The redeployment is coming barely four months after Aisabor was posted to the Western ports Command from Administration ‘A’ Dept — FHQ, Abuja to replace CP Sherifat Olajoku who was transferred to the Administration ‘C’ Dept. Force Headquarters.

The latest redeployment affected 23 Commissioners of Police as well as thirteen Deputy Commissioners of Police who have all been moved to various Commands nationwide as contained in a press statement released by the Police Service Commission headed by a former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro
