Twenty seven ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from Dec. 21 to Dec. 31, up from 25 expected in Dec 20. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated on Wednesday in Lagos.
According to NPA, four of the expected 27 ships would berth with petrol and aviation fuel.
NPA said that the remaining 23 expected ships contained buck wheat, general cargo, base oil, frozen fish, crude palm olein, buthane, aviation fuel, bulk charcoal, steel products and containers.
Also four ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, frozen fish, crude palm olein and petrol.
While fifteeen other ships are at the ports discharging empty containers, bulk wheat, bulk sugar, bulk gas, crude palm olein, ethanol, frozen fish, ethanol, containers, aviation fuel and petrol.
