Twenty eight ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from Oct. 17 to Nov. 5, 2016 according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
NPA said that the expected ships contained buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, slug, base oil, bulk gypsum, frozen fish, containers and petrol. Three ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with petrol, while other ships were waiting to berth with containers, bulk fertiliser and frozen fish.
NPA started that 16 other ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, containers, empty containers, bulk sugar, bulk charcoal, bulk sugar and petrol.
