54 vessels expected in Lagos ports in a month

Fifty four vessels laden with various goods are expected to arrive at the different terminals in Lagos ports between Oct. 22 and Nov. 20.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed this in its daily publication made available to newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday.

It said that of the expected vessels, 18 would arrive with containers, while 16 others would arrive with food items comprising rice, bulk salt, bulk malt, bulk sugar, crude palm oil and bulk wheat.

The NPA said 11 of the expected vessels would sail into the ports with petrol, aviation fuel, diesel and kerosine.

Five vessels will sail in with general cargo, while four others will arrive with vehicles.
