No fewer than 68 vessels are expected to berth at various terminals in the Lagos Port Complex (LPC) and the Tin Can Island Port Complex (TCIPC) both in Apapa, Lagos from Oct. 22 to Nov. 11.
According to a list of ships expected at the ports released by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), 39 of the vessels will bring in containers, while 10 will arrive with petroleum products including fuel, kerosene, diesel and base oil.
The document stated that five ships will arrive at ABTL, Joseph Dam and ENL terminals with food items including buckwheat, bulk malt and frozen fish.
Eight of the vessels would sail in with vehicles, three with general cargo, while the remaining three vessels will come in with different items including steel products.
The NPA also said that 20 vessels, laden with various petroleum products, had arrived at the Lagos ports and were waiting to berth.
14 of the vessels waiting to berth are laden with fuel, three with kerosene and each of the three left are carrying aviation fuel, base oil and gas.
