French shipping company CMA CGM has announced the suspension of the application of the peak season surcharge on ships calling in Nigeria from October 1, 2020.
The shipping company announced the suspension in a letter addressed to the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC).
Recall that Maersk Line and Mediterranean Shipping Company had earlier suspended application of the surcharge as a result of protests by stakeholders.
