Traffıc in the Bosphorus Strait was briefly suspended on Monday following a minor collision between two bulk carriers around the Anadolu Hirasi, according to GAC.

Due to a rudder malfunction on the 3,634 dwt bulk carrier Forward, the vessel collided with the 70,000 dwt bulker Wadi Alkarnak in the afternoon on November 28.

GAC informed that the vessels impacted on the sides, causing minor damages.

Traffic in the Bosphorus was suspended at 14:13 hours and resumed at 15:06 hours local time, GAC said.

According to AIS data provided by MarineTraffic, both vessels are currently anchored in Istanbul.
